John Twist, Director

John's first career was as an engineer, working all over the world in senior roles with major infrastructure/construction companies. In 1985, John applied his experience of corporate human resource needs to a new challenge, managing a recruitment company in the UK. He expanded the agency to cover senior positions, a rare service outside the major cities in the UK at that time and the firm was eventually bought out by a large High Street group.

Moving to Hong Kong in the early 1990s, John was enthralled by its energy and inspired by the rising need for senior staff in adjacent China. He determined to stay and apply his employment consulting experience in China. As a senior consultant for several well known executive search companies in both Hong Kong and mainland China, John developed a deep understanding of the local market. Now, as director of Causeway Consulting, he brings his years of executive recruitment experience and rich set of contacts to the service of matching people and companies in Hong Kong and China.
